Nestled in the picturesque Southern Flinders Ranges, Woodleigh Hills is an innovative business providing natural plant-based healing solutions made from 100% organic ingredients sourced from the South Australian landscape. Justine reached out to us to refine her brand identity and help market her natural remedies to those seeking revitalisation and a greater well-being. With our creative input, she is now stocked in 37 stores Australia-wide and is growing her business, releasing a new vegan product range.

PROJECT GOAL

Introduce a new colour palette and modern typography to refine her existing brand identity, and expand it out onto her existing products, a website and social media, as well as design new packaging for her upcoming product launch.

CHALLENGE

While successfully launching her business and connecting her audience with handcrafted, natural healing rubs, Justine came up against the barrier facing alternative health businesses - that they just don’t work or are not as effective as traditional over-the-counter medication. Being able to market her products to this audience of holistic medicine skeptics and show them the truly transformative power of Australian native botanicals was a goal and challenge all in one.

Her branding didn’t compare well against the existing competition, she needed help with a consistent colour palette and modern typography, as well as packaging improvements to elevate her products visually to the level she knew they could be.

That’s where we came in as Justine’s marketing and branding team to knock over these barriers and show Australia just how powerful Woodleigh Hills is.

SOLUTION

We knew that the foundation of a great brand is consistency in presentation. Inspired by Justine’s story and her appreciation for the South Australian landscape, we chose a colour palette that we felt reflected the natural environment, as well as the native ingredients within each of her products. With small tweaks like a modern typeface and a less complicated logo design, the Woodleigh Hills brand took shape and had an air of modernity and elegance that it was previously missing.

Expanding this out to an e-commerce website and curated social media, we took charge of Justine’s marketing and presented Woodleigh Hills as direct competition to traditional medication.

OUTCOME

Armed with her refined brand identity and confidence in her messaging, Justine and Woodleigh Hills just took off.

Within the first three months of the introduction of our new brand identity and packaging design, Woodleigh Hills was stocked in over 10 stores and is now in almost 40 stores across Australia!

Justine has also been featured as an SA Woman to Watch 2024, featured in SA Life Magazine and we are now helping her launch a new range of vegan products through more packaging design and continued marketing support.

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

With Justine bringing out a new product range, we were ecstatic to have our first taste of packaging design and help expand the Woodleigh Hills brand even further.

With this new range, Justine had a strong desire to visually represent her native botanicals through elegant, line art illustration and a medicinal layout that helps her existing customers and potential new buyers truly see the value of her business and her products.

With strong collaboration between us and Justine, and multiple rounds of feedback and refinements to make sure we were achieving exactly what she wanted to see, we created a range of packaging that stands out yet connects to her existing products to ensure brand consistency on the shelf.

It has been a whirlwind journey helping Justine create a brand and products she loves and knows her customers will come back to time and time again.
